Title |
English: 14. Assemble Knee Wall and Top Plate, East Wall. |
||||
Description |
English: 6 timber pieces are assembled to create a "knee wall". They are sitting on top of the masonry structure that was previously concealed by the non-historic porch roof. Preservationists assemble a timber frame “knee wall” on the east elevation of the Warfield House. This area had been previously concealed by the non-historic porch roof. The knee wall will help to support and tie the new roof rafters to the rest of the structure.
