Deutsch: 12,7-mm-MG DSchK Modell 1938 im Militärhistorischen Museum der Artillerie und Pioniertruppen, St. Petersburg, Russland. Diese Waffe gehörte dem Zugführer einer Maschinengewehrkompanie, dem Helden der Sowjetunion, Unteroffizier M.I. Kosomasow. Am 8. August 1944 übernahm er in einem Gefecht beim Bahnhof Auvere (Estnische SSR) das Kommando über die Kompanie, nachdem der Kompaniechef gefallen war und schlug mit seinen Männern 8 Angriffe des Gegners zurück. Er persönlich vernichtete mit seinem Maschinengewehrfeuer und Handgranaten zwei Tanketten und tötete im sich anschließenden Nahkampf zwei gegnerische Soldaten. Trotz einer schweren Verwundung führte er die Kompanie weiter, bis Verstärkung eintraf. Die wichtige Stellung konnte gehalten werden. English: 12.7 mm heavy machine gun DShK model of 1938. Military-Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineers and Signal Corps, Saint Petersburg, Russia. This particualer weapon belonged to the Hero of the Soviet Union sergeant M.I. Kozomazov. On August 8, 1944 in a battle near Auvere railway station (Estonian SSR) during the Battle of Tannenberg Line anti-aircraft machine-gun platoon sergeant M.I. Kozomazov replaced his killed-in-combat machine-gun company commander. Under his command, the company repulsed 8 counterattacks with fire of their machine guns. Personally, firing from machine guns and throwing grenades, M.I. Kozomazov knocked out two Tankettes, and in the ensuing melee killeed two Nazi soldiers. Despite receiving a severe wound, he continued to lead the fight until the arrival of reinforcements. An important milestone has been withheld. Принадлежал Герою Советского Союза старшине М. И. Козомазову. 8 августа 1944 г. в бою в районе станции Аувере Эстонской ССР командир зенитно-пулеметного взвода старшина М. И. Козомазов заменил в бою погибшего командира зенитно-пулеметной роты. 8 контратак противника отразила огнем рота под его командованием. Лично, огнем из пулемета и гранатами, М. И. Козомазов подбил две танкетки и в рукопашной схватке уничтожил двух гитлеровцев. Несмотря на полученное тяжелое ранение, продолжал руководить боем до подхода подкрепления. Важный рубеж был удержан.
