| Description | 119 Fifth Avenue (119-121) at the corner of East 19th Street in the Flatiron District neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1905-06 and was designed by John H. Duncan in the neo-Renaissance style. It was built to be an annex to the Lord & Taylor department store buildings which took up most of the square block between Broadway and Fifth Avenue and East 19th and 20th Streets, being connected by bridge to two of them. After Lord & Taylor moved uptown in 1914, the building saw use as a storage warehouse, by a notions wholesale firm, a glassware an china importer, Phillip Morris & Company, architects and a trade school.
