Summary[edit]
Description100925-A-9355L-246 (5024742630).jpg | NEW HOGAN LAKE, Calif. (Sept. 25, 2010) -- Kathy Fuente (right), a park technician at New Hogan Lake, shares a laugh with a volunteer during a National Public Lands Day event here Sept. 25. Volunteers and New Hogan park staff helped pick up trash, plant trees and restore trails around the lake during the event, which drew nearly 200 volunteers. “National Public Lands Day is important because it gets the community involved… and gives them a sense of ownership,” said Alicia Unsinn, New Hogan Lake park ranger. |
