Description HENSLEY LAKE, Calif. (Sept. 25, 2010) – Eastman Lake senior park ranger Carrie Richardson helps a young volunteer paint a horseshoe-course backstop here Sept. 25, as part of the park’s National Public Lands Day observance. More than 110 volunteers helped Hensley staff remove litter, repair trail erosion, clean the swimming beach and paint and clean signs throughout the park. The Corps’ Eastman and Hensley Lakes are just miles apart, and take turns hosting National Public Lands Day events each year.
