Name: Mishmar HaNegev - Beit Borochov
Description: The building was designed by the architect Shmuel Bickles as a regional library named after Dov Bar Borochov, one of the forefathers of the Zionist movement and the socialist settlement in the Land of Israel and was inaugurated in 1957.

שם: משמר הנגב - בית בורוכוב
תיאור: הבניין תוכנן על ידי האדריכל שמואל ביקלס כספרייה אזורית על שמו של דב בר בורוכוב, מאבות התנועה הציונית וההתיישבות הסוציאליסטית בארץ ישראל והוא נחנך בשנת 1957. מאז הקמתו, שימש המבנה בין השאר כספרייה, מרכז ללימודי מוסיקה, וכמרכז חינוכי-חברתי.
הערות: לאחר שהפעילות בבניין הופסקה לפני למעלה מעשור, הלך מצבו של המבנה והתדרדר ונוצר צורך דחוף בשימורו. בשנת 2014 התארגנו כמה מחברי קיבוץ משמר הנגב במטרה לחדש את ימיו של הבית כקדם ופנו למועצה לשימור אתרים על מנת שזו תוביל את תהליך שיקומו של המבנה. עבודות השימור והשיקום כללו הכנת תיק תיעוד, סקר הנדסי, תכנית הנדסית, טיפול במעטפת החיצונית של המבנה וכן בוצעו עבודות נגרות, חשמל ומיזוג אוויר.
