Name: Israel Railways - Lod station
Description: Lod railway complex was the largest and most important during the British Mandate period. The building (the old Ottoman station) was located on the Jaffa-Jerusalem railway, which was inaugurated in September 1892 and connected Jaffa to Jerusalem.

תיאור: מתחם הרכבת של לוד היה הגדול והחשוב בתקופת המנדט הבריטי צבאית ואזרחית. הכניסה הגדולה לארץ-ישראל, בעיקר מהדרום. בניין "תחנת א-ליד" (התחנה העות'מאנית הישנה) היה ממוקם על מסילת הרכבת יפו–ירושלים, אשר נחנכה בחודש ספטמבר 1892 וקישרה בין יפו לירושלים.
