Description
Català: Els personatges de la Comandància (Felipe Coscolla Plana). Pl. del Portal de la Pau, 5, edifici de la Comandància Militar (Barcelona). L’aparença d’aquesta escultura és la d’un pescador nu recolzat sobre d’una gran àncora i amb una xarxa cargolada sobre les espatlles, que li cau per un costat. L’erosió i les capes de pintura sobreposades han difuminat els contorns i els detalls. En realitat es recolza és sobre la creu d’una gran espasa una mica més alta que ell mateix i que el que li penja de les espatlles és una garlanda de triomfador. Aquesta és la única de les quatre figures masculines del terrat del Govern Militar que no porta capell. És possible que l’original, del que no es conserva la maqueta, en portés d’alguna mena, i que hagi desaparegut amb el pas dels anys, ja que el clatell i les orelles d’aquesta figura tenen un aspecte estrany, inacabat, com si li haguessin tret a cops alguna cosa que hi havia abans.
