Français : Tué au combat le 24 août 1914 à Nimy (Belgique), le lieutenant Maurice James Dease militaire britannique du 4ème bataillon du régiment Royal des fusiliers auquel la première Victoria Cross a été décernée à titre posthume au cours de la première guerre mondiale et il l'a reçue le premier jour de la première bataille britannique significative de cette guerre.
English: Killed in action on 24 August 1914 in Nimy (Belgium), the military Lieutenant Maurice James Dease who was awarded the first Victoria Cross posthumously in the First World War and he received it on the first day of the first significant British battle of this war.
