Description
Deutsch: Colorierte Fotografie mit der laufenden Nummer 6013 der Photochrom Zürich (P.Z.) mit einem Blick vom Balkon der Villa Simon in Hannover über den Königsworther Platz mit der vermutlich von dem Gartenbaudirektor Julius Trip gestalteten, umzäunten und mit Gaslaternen und Blumenbeeten versehenen Grünfläche in der Platzmitte. Am Ende des Platzes ist die seinerzeitige Ausdehnung der Herrenhäuser Allee mit dem von Georg Ludwig Friedrich Laves dorthin translozierten Toreinfahrt von dem ehemaligen Schloss Montbrillant zu sehen, an dessen Stelle sich im Hintergrund das Welfenschloss erhebt. Von rechts mündet die Schlosswender Straße vor dem Fabrikgebäude der Druckerei J. C. König & Ebhardt. Die Häusergruppe am linken Bildrand oben an der Ecke Jägerstraße und Fischerstraße wurde an Stelle des 1880 abgebrannten Fouragemagazins errichtet - wo sich heute die Zentrale der IG Bergbau, Chemie, Energie am Westschnellweg findet. Die Gebäudegruppe am rechten Bildrand diente als Kaserne am Köngsworther Platz verschiedenen Militäreinheiten ...
