Summary[edit]

Description

One of three pictures taken at Antwerpen Dam diesel depot on 1 August 1992. This was taken during a railtour jointly organised by UK based Along Different Lines. Most of the day was spent traversing many different parts of this huge rail connected port including a rare traversal right into one of the diesel sheds as seen here. To the left is preserved 3-car DHMU no. 4006 used for the days tour.

Whilst full of SNCB/NMBS locos, the depot was host that day to DB diesel no. 215.023. These were regular visitors to Antwerpen port from Germany at the time.
