La Cascada del Vino está ubicada en el estado Lara, en el parque nacional Dinira. Es una cascada espectacular y maravillosa, que debe su nombre precisamente al color de sus aguas, tinto, producido por la mezcla de antocianina (sustancia contenida en las plantas que allí se encuentran) con el material ferruginoso que se desprende de las aguas. Esta cascada tiene una caída de agua de 90 metros de altura, y se encuentra a 1.672 msnm. Su temperatura promedio oscila entre los 16 y 20 grados. La cascada del Vino se encuentra dentro del área que la cordillera de los andes toca al estado Lara, sabiendo que es en esta región donde culmina esta gran cordillera, en Venezuela.
