Description
English: Lighter. Object used to stoke a fire. Hole on the mouth. This head-shaep lid was put on a vessel full of water placed on the fire. Once the water reached boiling-point, the water turned into steam, which came out from the Moor's mouth with a hiss.
Français : Tisonnier. Objet utilisé pour attiser un feu. Trou sur la bouche. Ce couvercle en forme de tête était posé sur un récipient rempli d'eau placé sur le feu. Une fois que l'eau atteignait le point d'ébullition, l'eau se transformait en vapeur, qui sortait de la bouche du Maure avec un sifflement.
Italiano: Attizzatoio. Oggetto adoperato per attizzare il fuoco. Foro sulla bocca.Questo coperchio a forma di testa veniva messo su un recipiente pieno d'acqua posto sul fuoco. Una volta giunta al punto di ebollizione, l'acqua si trasformava in vapore, che usciva con un sibilo dalla bocca del Moro.
