Fourchette américaine en acier inoxydable ou fer étamé, ou encore avec un manche en alu (à vérifier). La fourchette et le couteau sont placés dans un étui de cuir, afin d'éviter toute dégradation de la pochette à gamelle du havresac M-1928.
