Summary[edit]

Description
English: The tower and the curtain walls were built on the initiative of Bernard de Castanet. The tower is included in the northern ramparts. These lowered ones have become a promenade above the Place d'Armes which has become a French garden. On the right the Tarn and the Old Bridge and behind the New Bridge, on the left the north facade of the Berbie Palace.
Français : La tour et les courtines ont été construites à l'initiative de Bernard de Castanet. La tour est inclue dans les remparts nord. Ces derniers rabaissés sont devenus une promenade au-dessus de la place d'arme devenue un jardin à la française. A droite le Tarn et le Pont vieux et derrière le Pont neuf, à gauche la façade nord du palais de la Berbie.
