中文（臺灣）：監察院為台灣目前保存最完整的西洋歷史式樣建築，被視為受後文藝復興時期影響的建築代表作。從建築式樣看其藝術價值，平面形式及垂直動線機能的設計，簡單清楚，反映當時全面追求理性思考的建築思潮；另外，簡潔的外觀，富有裝飾，紅磚牆面及磚拱構造，具時代意義，為古典式樣建築風格的表達。 |
