Description
中文：本碑文為蔣故總統經國先生紀念亭記，現存於連江縣東引鄉中柱島，為該公共建設沿革之參考文本，日後得做為研究連江縣之重要史料。碑文全文如下：東引為台澎復興基地北端之屏衛，　經國先生歷次親臨巡視，均指示東西引兩島宜使通貫，並建深水港，以擴大復興基地戰略縱深。迨「中柱港」、「中柱堤 」先後完成，防務乃益形周全，戰地軍經建設，亦因而突飛猛進。東引軍民咸感念　先生高瞻遠矚，親民愛民之深仁厚澤，共議於中柱島興建紀念亭，並恭塑　先生銅像，以應軍民瞻仰之望，爰由防區指揮部籌劃，駐島官兵構築，自民國七十七年六月經始，至八十年五月竣工，閱時參載，終底於成。東引軍民矢志保衛疆土，奉行國策，深堪嘉勉，茲值亭成，因敬為之記。
