| Description |
中文（臺灣）：安通溫泉，另有著「安通濯暖」之稱，與太魯閣和紅葉尋蹊齊名，為花蓮八景之一。安通溫泉最初發現於1904年（明治37年），是日治時期上山採集樟腦之日本人，在安通溪的河床邊，無意間發現從河床下不斷冒出的溫泉水。自發現溫泉後，直至1930年（昭和5年），臺灣總督府才在此處設置了日本警察招待所，並將安通溫泉開闢成公共的澡堂供當時的日本人使用。戰後，溫泉自1970年代以後才有民間的業者將此處買下經營，並將旅舍改名為「安通溫泉大旅社」。儘管自臺灣的觀光業逐漸興起後，附近多出了許多家的溫泉旅舍，當地仍然保留了一些日治時期所建造的木造房舍，這些房舍的外觀與內部都維持著當時的日本文化，更甚至當時的牌子「玉里溫泉公共浴場」也被保存了下來。此影像收錄於《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》一書，為葉柏強先生撰寫、花蓮縣文化局於2016年（民國105年）出版。書中記錄了花蓮近百年的城市樣貌，是一本擁有豐富文史與圖像資料的書籍。 |
