CO2分子は、赤外線(熱)を吸収するだけでなく放出する。CO2分子が放出した赤外線を別のCO2分子が吸収、放出する。CO2分子が少なければ放出された赤外線は地球外へと放出されるが、CO2分子の量が増えれば地表に戻る赤外線が増える。そのため二酸化炭素増加が地球温暖化の原因として考えらえている。出典:国立環境研究所 地球環境研究センター[1] |
