Description
English: This image show the public display of bride's settlement clothes.

In Igbo culture in Eastern Nigeria, items including box of clothes are given to the bride by her family after the traditional marriage The clothes are usually displayed for public viewing.

Due to insecurity, people do not display the clothes for public viewing, instead the clothes are usually packed in a box
Igbo: Eserese a na -egosi ebe atụsara akwa ejidu nwanyị ụlọ.

N'ala Igbo, emesie ịgba nkwụ nwaanyị, ezi na ụlọ nke nwanyị ga ebunye ya ihe dị iche iche nke gụnyere ịgbe/akpati akwa. Ana atusakwa akwa ahụ ka ora mmadụ kirie.

Ka ihe sịrị gbata kwuru ugbu a, ndị mmadụ anaghi atusakwa akwa kama ana etinye akwa ahụ na igbe.
