ไทย: วัดไชยวัฒนาราม มีปรางค์ประธานและปรางค์มุมอยู่บนฐานเดียวกัน พระปรางค์ประธานนำรูปแบบของพระปรางค์สมัยอยุธยาตอนต้นมาก่อสร้าง แต่ปรางค์ประธานที่วัดไชยวัฒนารามทำมุขทิศยื่นออกมามากกว่า บนยอดองค์พระปรางค์ใหญ่อาจเคยประดิษฐานพระเจดีย์ขนาดเล็ก สื่อถึงพระเจดีย์จุฬามณีบนยอดเขาพระสุเมรุ รอบพระปรางค์ใหญ่ล้อมรอบไปด้วยระเบียงคตที่เดิมนั้นมีหลังคา ภายในระเบียงคตประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปปูนปั้นปางมารวิชัยที่เคยลงรักปิดทองจำนวน 120 องค์ เป็นเสมือนกำแพงเขตศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ตามแนวระเบียงคตตรงทิศทั้งแปดสร้างเมรุทิศ และเมรุมุม (เจดีย์รอบ ๆ พระปรางค์ใหญ่) ภายในเมรุทุกองค์ประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูป ภายในซุ้มเรือนแก้วล้วนลงรักปิดทอง ฝาเพดานทำด้วยไม้ประดับลวดลายลงรักปิดทองเช่นกัน English: Wat Chai Watthanaram, Ban Pom Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province
