ไทย: ภาพจำลองของธงชัยเฉลิมพลหน่วยทหารอากาศ ตามพระราชบัญญัติธง พ.ศ. 2522 สร้างขึ้นตามความที่บรรยายในมาตรา 16 แห่งพระราชบัญญัติดังกล่าว โดยอาศัยภาพต้นแบบจากเว็บไซต์หอมรดกไทย กระทรวงกลาโหม
ลักษณะของธงตามมาตรา 16 ของพระราชบัญญติธง พ.ศ. 2522 มีดังนี้ "ธงชัยเฉลิมพลของทหารอากาศ มีลักษณะอย่างเดียวกับธงชาติ แต่เป็นรูปสี่เหลี่ยมจัตุรัส ขนาดกว้างด้านละ ๗๐ เซนติเมตร ตรงกลางของผืนธงมีดวงกลมสีฟ้าขนาดเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลางยาว ๒ ใน ๓ ส่วนของความกว้างของผืนธง ภายในดวงกลมมีอุณาโลมทหารอากาศ และมีชื่อหน่วยทหารสีแดงขลิบริมสีเหลืองเป็นแถวโค้งโอบใต้ดวงกลมสีฟ้า ผืนธงมุมด้านบนที่ติดกับคันธงมีรูปพระมหามงกุฎและเลขหมายประจำรัชกาลของพระมหากษัตริย์ที่พระราชทานเป็นตัวเลขไทยสีเหลือง ภายใต้พระมหามงกุฎมีพระปรมาภิไธยย่อสีแดงขลิบริมสีเหลืองรัศมีสีฟ้าขอบธงด้านที่ติดกับคันธงมีเกลียวเชือกสีแดงสลับดำ ด้านอื่นมีแถบจีบสีเหลืองกว้าง ๒ เซนติเมตร"
