العربية: يعود اصول الدرع الئ المناطق الساحلية في الصومال اذ تم انشاؤة لاول مرة في القرن الرابع عشر من قبل مجموعة نساء صوماليات وجاء الئ عدن عن طريق التجار الصومالين في القرن العشرين. يعتبر الدرع هو لباس المراة الصومالية في الاعراس والحياة اليومية وهو واسع ويتميز بالزخارف والنقوش والخطوط الحريرية والتطريز
English: "The origins of the Adeni garment dirac can be traced back to the coastal regions of Somalia, as it was first created in the 14th century by a group of Somali women. It reached Aden through Somali traders in the 20th century and is considered the traditional attire of Somali women for weddings and daily life. It is wide, adorned with decorations, patterns, silk lines, and embroidery."
Türkçe: "Adeni giysi dirac'ın kökenleri, Somali'nin sahil bölgelerine dayanır, ilk kez 14. yüzyılda bir grup Somali kadın tarafından oluşturulmuştur. Somali tüccarları tarafından 20. yüzyılda Aden'e ulaşmıştır ve Somali kadınları için düğünler ve günlük yaşamın geleneksel kıyafetidir. Geniş, süslemelerle, desenlerle, ipek hatlarla ve nakışlarla süslenmiştir."
