این امامزاده سید محمد بارده نامیده می شود و در استان چهار محال و بختیاری شهرستان بن قرار گرفته است. بقعه امامزاده در ضلع شرقی روستای بارده از توابع شهرستان شهرکرد در استان چهارمحال و بختیاری، در ۴۸ کیلومتری جنوب غربی شهرکرد میان دو کوه نسه و برآفتاب، قرار دارد و با توجه به مناظر بسیار زیبا و دلنواز کوهستانی و چشمه های خنک اطراف و آب و هوای مطلوب منطقه، سالانه پذیرای هزاران زائر و گردشگر از نقاط مختلف است. سب شریف امامزاده سید محمد با هفت واسطه به امام هفتم علیه السلام منتهی می شود که بدین شرح است: «سید محمد بن ابی القاسم حمزه بن علی بن حسین بن احمد بن محمد الشریف بن اسماعیل بن ابراهیم المرتضی بن امام موسی الکاظم علیه السلام». جد ایشان سید ابراهیم المرتضی همان فرزند بزرگوار امام هفتم علیه السلام به شمار می رود که در سال ۱۹۹ ه.ق در یمن قیام نمود و پس از تصرف این شهر از سوی محمد بن محمد بن زید شهید علیه السلام استاندار یمن شد. پس از شکست قیام محمد، مامون عباسی به او امان داد و او را در خراسان نزد برادرش امام رضا علیه السلام فرستاد و در سال ۲۱۰ ه.ق به دست مامون عباسی مظلومانه مسموم و سپس به شهادت رسیدند. بنای بقعه امامزاده را در دوران صفوی ساخته اند تاریخ آن به این دوران می رسد.
