Description: Aérostat sphérique (ballon) portant l'inscription Gloire sous lequel est suspendu Napoléon Bonaparte en uniforme et tricorne portant aux épaules des ailes marquées à gauche Terreur, à droite Intérêt. Au sol foule animée observant le ballon et des tracts en forme de petites banderoles qui tombent du ciel marqués de bas en haut à gauche: Mandats d'Arrêts / Prisons / Responsabilité des Pères / Commissions Militaires / Exil, au milieu: un Bulletin / Gazette / Te Deum / Proclamation, à droite ou tombent aussi des fleurs: Pensions / Dignités / Promesses / Décorations / Dotations. Parmi les spectateurs se distinguent entre autres à gauche: sous un arbre mort, un curé, un invalide cul-de-jatte avec jambe de bois et béquilles, deux jeunes hommes, l'un en uniforme, l'autre se bouchant les oreilles, dans la plaine du milieu: un groupe de personnes des deux sexes, les dames en robes de style empire, à droite: sous un arbre verdoyant un jeune homme applaudissant, un autre agitant son chapeau tricorne. Une estampe identique plus lisible se trouve à la BNF, date estimée: 1800-1869.

This work was published on territory of the Russian Empire (Russian Republic) except for territories of the Grand Duchy of Finland and Congress Poland before 7 November 1917 and wasn't re-published for 30 days following initial publications on the territory of Soviet Russia or any other countries.
