Українська: Мозаїка «Золоти́х воріт» («Київська Ру́сь») — мозаїчна композиція в інтер'єрах станції метро «Золоті ворота». Станція має статус «щойно виявленого об'єкту культурної спадщини», пам'ятки архітектури, містобудування й монументального мистецтва. Архітектура станції — алюзія на храмове зодчество Київської Русі. Замість пілонів використано невисокі циліндричні потужні колони, облицьовані білим мармуром. Білу стелю центрального залу прокреслюють мозаїчні смуги зі смальти, виділені цегляними розшивками. У торцях станції з боку платформи і з боку ескалаторів розміщені чотири великі мозаїчні панно Григорія Кореня. З боку виходу в місто зображений Архангел Михаїл, з протилежного — Георгій Змієборець. Склепіння проходів на платформи мають цегляну окантовку. Усередині арок розміщено 38 подвійних мозаїк, що зображують давньокиївських правителів, різних діячів і храми Київської Русі, складні орнаменти, а також 32 симарглів (автор В. Федько). Жодна зі смальтових мозаїк не повторюється.
English: The "Golden Gate" mosaic ("Kyivska Rus") is a mosaic composition in the interiors of the "Golden Gate" metro station. The station has the status of a "newly discovered object of cultural heritage", a monument of architecture, urban planning and monumental art. The architecture of the station is an allusion to the temple architecture of Kyivan Rus. Instead of pylons, low cylindrical powerful columns lined with white marble were used. The white ceiling of the central hall is outlined by mosaic strips made of smalt, highlighted by brickwork. Four large mosaic panels of Grigory Koren are placed at the ends of the station on the side of the platform and on the side of the escalators. Archangel Michael is depicted on the side of the exit in the city, on the opposite side - George Zmieborets. |
