English: Sergey Kirillovich Lichak is a Soviet and Russian lexicographer, translator, author and co-author of a large number of German-Russian and Russian-German dictionaries. Co-author of the first explanatory UFO dictionary in the Russian language.
He was born in 1923 in the city of Alchevsk, Lugansk region. He graduated from the Higher Naval School in Leningrad, specialty ship power plants. Captain II rank engineer, retired. From 1942 to 1973 he served in the Navy and SA of the USSR. He took part in hostilities during the Great Patriotic War (1942-43. Battle of the Caucasus). Since 1973 - State Expert of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of State Patent Examination (VNIIGPE). Author and co-author (editor) of German-Russian dictionaries: German-Russian Polytechnic Dictionary, German-Russian Dictionary of Internal Combustion Engines and Gas Turbine Installations, German-Russian Dictionary of Machine Parts, German-Russian Thermal Dictionary, Russian-German and German-Russian dictionary energy and handling. Author of a number of scientific papers and publications, including the "Explanatory Ufological Dictionary with Equivalents in English and German". Engaged in the problem of anomalous phenomena and UFOs since 1951 (collection and synthesis of materials). Supporter hypothesis relating to the extraterrestrial origin of UFOs. Nederlands: Sergey Kirillovich Lichak werd geboren in 1923 in de stad Alchevsk, in de regio Lugansk. Hij studeerde af aan de marineschool in Leningrad, speciale scheepscentrales. Captain II rang ingenieur, gepensioneerd. Van 1942 tot 1973 diende hij in de marine en de SA van de USSR. Hij nam deel aan vijandelijkheden tijdens de Grote Patriottische Oorlog (1942-1943, Slag om de Kaukasus). Sinds 1973 - State Expert Patent Examination (VNIIGPE). Auteur: Duits-Russische woordenboeken: Duits-Russisch Polytechnisch woordenboek, Duits-Russisch woordenboek van het Engels, Russisch-Engels woordenboek en Duits-Russische woordenboekenergie en -verwerking.
