Description

21 жовтня, українська збірна Українська збірна «Invictus Games» у складі 4 учасників взяла участь у змаганнях з велоспорту. У результаті змагань одна бронзова медаль в скарбничці української збірної, яку здобув Денис Фіщук.

Протягом дня українську збірну підтримувала українська громада в Австралії. З прапорами, оплесками та вигуками «Україна»! скандували та зустрічали наших спортсменів.

«Invictus Games» — це не спортивні змагання — це зовсім інше: це можливість відчути себе частиною команди, підтримати та отримати підтримку.

Найбільш зворушливий момент завершив змагальний день: французький велосипедист допомагав польському. У нього під час змаганьзсудомило ногу, і французький ветеран допомагав досягнути фінішу.

Завтра, у другий день змагань українська збірна «Invictus Games» змагатиметься у веслуванні, яку представить Олександа Бєлобоков, Юрій Дмитренко, Сергій Ільницький та Олександр Чалапій.

Нагадаємо, що сьогодні в перший день змагань у Сіднеї Денис Фіщук здобув бронзу у велогонці. Це перша медаль української збірної «Invictus Games» на цьогорічних змаганнях та перша за два роки медаль у велоспорті.

Вболіваємо за Нескорених!
