Español: Se estima que tan solo quedan menos de 7000 ejemplares de guepardos en libertad. Los esfuerzos de conservación, como la reintroducción y seguimiento de individuos mediante radiocollares, apenas son capaces de mantener el ritmo de destrucción del hábitat natural que sigue teniendo lugar en todo el mundo. Existen momentos como este instante capturado, donde uno se siente afortunado por presenciar cómo la vida salvaje trata de abrirse camino mientras los humanos nos empeñamos en detener su avance. Esta madre guepardo y sus cachorros, son unos privilegiados porque habitan en un Parque Nacional de Sudáfrica protegido (Mountain Zebra), donde centran sus esfuerzos en tratar de traer de vuelta grandes depredadores localmente extintos. Esta captura, casi idílica, que nos transmite paz, calma y ternura, se contrapone a la realidad de los guepardos que habitan otras zonas sin protección, donde son frecuentemente matados cruelmente debido al conflicto con los ganaderos.
