English: Letter from Émile Mugnot de Lyden to Charles Nuitter, on 14 September 1882. The writer offered a copy of his work Theater of Yesteryear and Today that he has just published, in memory of the benevolence that Nuitter has always demonstrated with regard to his research. Top left, letterhead : « La Patrie, 12 rue du Croissant ».
Français : Lettre d'Émile Mugnot de Lyden à Charles Nuitter, le 14 septembre 1882. L'écrivain offre un exemplaire de son ouvrage Théâtre d'autrefois et d'aujourd'hui qu'il vient de faire paraître, en souvenir de la bienveillance que Nuitter a toujours manifestée à l'égard de ses recherches. En haut à gauche, papier à en-tête : « La Patrie, 12 rue du Croissant ».
