Español: Realizado en 1554 por Sebastian Münster, profesor de la Universidad de Heidelberg. Es el primer mapa del continente en su conjunto del que se tiene noticia. Forma parte de una exposición realizada en la Universidad de Princeton.
Destacan en el mapa la representación de la mítica tribu de los Monoculi, representados por un gigante de un solo ojo que ocupa lo que hoy serían Nigeria y Camerún; un elefante que ocupa toda Sudáfrica, las Fuentes del Nilo y multitud de pequeños reinos.
English: Made in 1554 by Sebastian Münster, professor at the University of Heidelberg. It is the first map of the continent as a whole that is known. It is part of an exhibition held at Princeton University.
The representation of the mythical Monoculi tribe stands out on the map, represented by a one-eyed giant that occupies what would be Nigeria and Cameroon today; an elephant that occupies all of South Africa, the Sources of the Nile and a multitude of small kingdoms.
