| Description |
Nederlands: Om het water dat ten zuidelijk om Den Bosch stroomde door te laten, kon de spoorlijn niet op een dijk worden gelegd maar moest er een brug komen. In 1885 werd de bouw gestart. Als fundering werden voor iedere pijler 15 houten palen in de grond geheid met een heimachine op stoom. Op de pijlers werd een eikenhouten vloer gelegd. Daar deze fundering later geheel onder water zou komen te staan, bleef het hout geconserveerd en rotte niet. Op de fundering werden de pijlers opgemetseld, 35 stuks, en 2 landhoofden.
