Description
English: Lieutenant Colonel George Wilding Wood (1840-1918), born in Latimer, Buckinghamshire, in Leaves from a Hunting Diary in Essex (1900). Wood spent his military career in the 56th The Essex Regiment (Pompadours). He became a Deputy Lieutenant of Essex. Wood is buried at St Mary the Virgin Church, Fryerning, Essex.
