English: During a late night on set, production crews from the motion-picture “Fort Bliss” film a scene with Michelle Monaghan and Soldiers assigned to Troop B, 2nd Squadron, 13th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, at the Waigali training village Oct. 9, which is located about 45 minutes east of the installation. In the scene, Staff Sgt. Swann (Monaghan) dismounts an MRAP to provide medical care after the lead vehicle in their patrol was attacked by and IED. The movie, which also stars Ron Livingston (Office Space), began filming at Fort Bliss in late September and closed with its “final wrap” Oct. 10. |
