Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: "The Tree" - Campsie Playing Fields. I call this the great survivor - it has withstood a lightning strike, extensive pruning and the road widening scheme on the Irishtown Road. In the background is the County Primary School in Campsie and the Changing Rooms which used to part of the Swimming Pool building. I say "used to" because the portion of the building which was the main pool area was demolished to make way for the widening scheme. The school children now use the facilities at the Leisure Centre on the Old Mountfield Road. |
