| Description |
English: "Maggie Ballantine's" revisited - 52 years later!! The lane was always rough but the house seemed much bigger. There was always smoke coming out of the chimney and sometimes the door. At just over three quarters a mile away it seemed an endless and fearful journey for a seven year old en route to borrow some tea for his granny to cater for unscheduled guests. Maggie who had little or nothing never refused. I cannot imagine a more poignant geograph moment and that's the truth. |
