"Herman was more than determined not to have his picture taken. Even coaxing him with his favorite grunts. Herman was the pet and mascot of Radio Relay Company, a part of 5th Communications Battalion. Corporal Jimmy "Snuffy" Blair, is seen trying to coax Herman out from under the shade of a hut.
