"Graves of Rollo & Koyi at Njuyu, Livingstonia", Malawi, ca.1895
Photograph of two graves situated side by side at the foot of a tree. The graves, which are possible of Ngoni people, are surrounded by piles of stones and have white crosses at the head.; The Ngoni people are an ethnic group living in Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia. Their origins can be traced to the Zulu people of kwaZulu-Natal in South Africa.
