Summary[edit]

Description
English: "Aunty Democracy", the personification of the Democratic Party, holds a magnifying glass over several prospective Presidential candidates: William Randolph Hearst, Alton B. Parker, Tom L. Johnson, Carter Harrison, Jr., Richard Olney, and Arthur Pue Gorman. The feet of William Jennings Bryan are shown protruding from the wastebasket, indicating that he has been discarded. Grover Cleveland hides under the table because he does not want to run for President a fourth time.
