Summary[edit]
Description"Djinni in a Bottle" Abstract watercolor painting.jpg |
English: "Djinni in a Bottle" (2020) was painted by Bruce Black. This painting has an exotic quality brought about through warm curry colored yellows, bright oranges, and blacks tones. On the left side, a blue and black oval mass circles around an orange circle, similar to an eye or a galaxy. An orange bar moves through the center and a black rectangle appears on the bottom right.
This painting has been created in Black's unique abstract style of watercolor painting. Marks move across the page similar to calligraphy and the viewer is left to interpret the symbols and deeper meaning of the artwork. Bruce Black (1970-) lives and works in Phoenix Arizona. |
