| Description |
English: "Brown and Mild,Tom" Opposite the White Rose Garage. These two are built on the exact site of my late, lamented local "The Welcome"; and spiritually I feel Tom , who was the barman in the Public Bar throughout all my time there, is still here in spirit to serve all his old regulars: many of whom (Edgar,Walter, Les and Mick RIP) have now gone to the great tap room in the sky themselves. |
