English: Part of a set / slideshow of "point an shoot" images - taken with a very high sensor speed to minimise camera shake (and so with excessive image noise), and hastily fixed in Photoshop. The pictures were taken at the TUC organised "March for the Alternative" in London on Saturday 26th of March 2011, to protest against government cutbacks, and a belief that the economic recovery may be sabotages by the speed and levels of the cuts.
Between a quarter and a half a million people attended. The march terminated in a rally in Hyde Park. Because the numbers of participants were so large, the rally was over by the time I eventually got to the park...
