Deutsch: Skulptur „Europa greift nach den Sternen“ in Breisach am Rhein. Es erinnert an die erste Volksabstimmung für ein vereintes Europa am 9. Juli 1950 in Breisach. Stier und Europa sind der griechischen Mythologie entlehnt und das Dreieck ist Symbol des Dreiländereck Deutschland/Frankreich/Schweiz.
English: Sculpture "Europe reaches for the stars" in Breisach am Rhein. It commemorates the first referendum for a united Europe on July 9, 1950 in Breisach. Bull and Europe are borrowed from Greek mythology and the triangle is a symbol of the border triangle Germany/France/Switzerland.
