  •  Comment The scope is not suitable. We should discuss whether the painter's name followed by the name of the work is admissible. Who has an opinion? --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 17:35, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment - This scope name means that the nominated painting is the most representative piece of the whole creative work by Tintoretto. It is almost impossible proposition. Obviously, the scope is too broad. The scope names in VI project when works of art are nominated is: ""Name of the work by Name of the author". In this case the scope name should be: The Resurrection by Tintoretto. However, here comes a complication because of the name. It is very likely for an artist of this period to have more than one painting with this name. This means that the nominated image presents the best depiction of the Resurrection by Tintoretto. With this remark, this is OK for me. The open question is: Since Tintoretto is a prominent artist what if we want all reproductions of his works to obtain a VI status? --MrPanyGoff 20:24, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment - This painting is the most representative of the Venetian painting and the painting of Tintoret. Tintoret painted some resurrection, but this one is significant. --M0tty (talk) 22:15, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment The Resurrection is not mentioned by en:Tintoretto and I don't see La Resurrezione in it:Tintoretto either. I don't dispute that this work is significant, but Miracle of the Slave may be more notable than this work. This image is not geocoded, but could be (criterion #5. --Walter Siegmund (talk) 05:34, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment The picture is geocoded via the model {{Institution:Gallerie dell'Accademia (Venice)}} and I think that the scope could be "Resurrection in painting" maybe. --M0tty (talk) 11:37, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment - So, to sum up, you should choose the main purpose of your nomination: The Resurrection of Christ as a theology event or The particular painting by Tintoretto. In other words, considering the VI topics - Concepts and ideas/Religious or Works of art/Paintings and pictorial arts. Choose one of them please and then we can go ahead.--MrPanyGoff 06:23, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment - Ok ! I understand. I think that The particular painting by Tintoretto is a good scope. It's ok for you ? --M0tty (talk) 17:00, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If you choose as your target this particular painting by Tintoretto then the scope name is: The Resurrection by Tintoretto. As I mention above there are more paintings by Tintoretto called The Resurrection (here one of them). So we should add the place of the painting and scope become The Resurrection by Tintoretto (Gallerie dell'Accademia, Venice).--MrPanyGoff 12:17, 18 May 2011 (UTC) The problem is that I searched for this painting in big web galleries (here 1 and here 2) but couldn't find it. Are you sure that this painting is by Jacopo Tintoretto? Isn't it a fragment of some wall fresco? Can you provide some links which give information about it?--MrPanyGoff 12:31, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I am sure that this photography is of Tintoretto, its number of category is 215 in the accademia di belle arti of Venice.
I must rename the image, or simply the scope? --M0tty (talk) 17:22, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I fixed the scope in the way that I think it should be. It links to the category created by me, which collects the Tintoretto works in Gallerie dell'Accademia. Hope all to be happy now ;)--MrPanyGoff 20:45, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Support Good for me with this scope --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 10:28, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
