Comment - Two elements lacking which are important to have a more clear idea of the subject: a distance scale and graduated meridians and parallels (two of each are enough). Also, the information in the picture file should be more complete, I had to go to the WP article (not referred in this nomination) to know that this was about a train railway... Shouldn't be difficult to do -- Alvesgaspar (talk) 23:54, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think I'm an expert? I would have added those if I knew what the true distance which is why there is no scale. Bidgee (talk) 01:03, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose - Per my comments above. It wouldn't be too difficult to bring a little more of sophistication to this picture, like including the info I suggested above and inserting aditional base information to the map (for example, some elevation info, useful for a better understanding of the railway itself). Finally, I don't understand why the colours look darker in the upper part of the picture or why some "remains" of irrelevant islands are shown on top. No need to be an expert. Just a little more care. -- Alvesgaspar (talk) 17:32, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Comment New map uploaded. Bidgee (talk) 19:36, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Info With graduated meridians and parallels is this what you mean? Bidgee (talk) 22:12, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Info - Sorry but the graphical scale is wrong. That north-south border between the Western territory and the Northern and South Australia, from coast to coast, measures about 1900 kilometers, which is much less that the number given by your scale. As for the meridians and parallels maybe it is better to forget it, unless you want to specify the map projection used in the map. -- Alvesgaspar (talk) 00:57, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Comment You've confused me with 'north-south border between the Western territory and the Northern and South Australia'.

I've done some adding up and work out that the scare is over not under. Northern Territory from the Western Australia border to Queensland is about 900km whicgh mean the scare is in fact over which I'm about to fix. Bidgee (talk) 10:21, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
