Request It is the location of the camera you should geocode, not the subject. The subject is best geocoded in the article page of the subject, on, e.g., a local wikipedia. If you add a heading you will get a cool pointer, pointing towards Superphénix. Highly recommendable. --Slaunger (talk) 19:41, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I understand, but in this case, it is quite the same: the nuclear power plant is a huge installation, at least 1 km long, while I took the image just from 100 m away of the main gate. I slightly changed it [1]. Yann (talk) 08:46, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I do not think the change is that diminutive though as the camera position is offset by approx. 600 m from from the main reactor (which was the previous location). At the geocoding page it is hinted at that we are aiming for a precision of about 7 m. I also added a heading. Once the tool server has replicated the change it will pop up as nice Commons logo pointing in the direction of the subject. I'll review the VIC later, when I have more time. --Slaunger (talk) 09:29, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Question Hmm... How about COM:FOP in France? I am not an expert in FOP, but doesn't the special restrictions pertaining to Freedom of panorama in France imply that we cannot host this image? I'll ask MichaelMaggs. --Slaunger (talk) 09:59, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
IMO, there is no copyright on industrial design. Yann (talk) 10:07, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Neutral After all this trouble I cannot even make a clear vote... I think the scope is relevant, but I am in doubt which one is the most valuable. The nominated image is probably the best at showing the entire facility, the technical quality is good and so is the lightning. On the other hand, not much is seen of the reactor building. The surroundings, which are perhaps not so relevant, fill a lot of the area (crop?). To illustrtate the scope it is perhaps more interesting to see what is "under the hood"?

  •  Comment I think the "model of the interior" should be a different scope: IMO preferably Design of a fast breeder reactor. We can't really understand what is this reactor just looking at the building, so IMO it doesn't matter much if we see more of the reactor building or not. I created three closed up views of the reactor, two from the south, one from the east. Yann (talk) 10:30, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I see what you are meaning with the interior. On the other hand the reactor design here is specific to the Superphénix I would guess. I does not change my inability to favour one photo over the others. There are pros and cons to most of them. --Slaunger (talk) 20:57, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
