Support VI for me --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 16:23, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Comment - I prefer the actual signature than the tracing. The actual signature shows stress points and gives idea of flow as well. But for being useful and thus valuable, i would prefer a cropped image that shows only his signature. That way it can be used in infoboxes. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 09:38, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment I tend to agree with §§Dharmadhyaksha§§. We need both the check, as an unique and very interesting document with a high historical value, and a crop of the signature, which should "fit" better with the scope IMO. And I agree with Archaeo and nominator: a real signature is much more valuable than a tracing. For this scope, I'll support a crop.--Jebulon (talk) 10:09, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment If necessary I will come up with a better scope. To crop this signature is to delete very important context: that the signature was made while Jefferson served as President. In my opinion, it takes what can be a valued image and turns it into just another signature image.--Godot13 (talk) 18:15, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Support with context. --Ikar.us (talk) 20:25, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment Quite silly to have two completely different formatted scopes for to similar cases. Please fix this one.  B.p. 21:20, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
