| Reason | This is Habib-i-Neccar Mosque in Antakya, Turkey shortly before it was torn down by the February 2023 earthquake. The picture combines two photographs taken from the adjacent street with some tinkering, including perspective correction. The eastern outer wall, main gate, and minaret are entirely depicted. I think it is the best general view of the mosque on Commons, notably better than File:KHA 1704-2.jpg which used to be the primary picture on -- GrandEscogriffe (talk) |
