  1. The scope used the word "everyday", not "domestic". Multimeters are used by many tradesmen, not just electricians, making it then "everyday" instruments.
  2. The article en:metric system catalogues over 30 quantities that are expressed using coherent metric (SI or CGS) units. This "collection" only shows a selection of instruments and make no attempt to show a full set.
  3. The litre is not in the list of units mentioned above, but is a "Non-SI units accepted for use with the International System of Units" (See Table 6 here).
