  •  Comment - You're right. It has to link to a Commons gallery, not a Wikipedia article. I'll temporarily  Oppose, so it's not prematurely passed without the requisite format change. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:31, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Sorry, it seems that I changed the scope after last review but did not properly save my changes. See new scope. I narrowed the scope regarding the category, because the Category:Measuring instruments (skin) is quite universal. It would not make sense to choose one picture from this category, but it is OK to choose a picture of a special kind of measuring instrument. In future there might be enought Corneometer pictures to create an own category for them. This is just to explain why I added further text to the category. -- Dr. Schorsch (talk) 15:10, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Scope changed from Images of Corneometers to Images of Corneometers in Category:Measuring instruments (skin) --Dr. Schorsch (talk) 15:10, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Dr. Schorsch, the word "Category" should never be visible in a scope. If the gallery the image is in is a huge category with too many irrelevant items, please create a new gallery for corneometers or some other useful subset of measuring instruments for the skin. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:52, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Comment - I don't think you understand the difference between a VI scope and a gallery. If this is the VI for the scope "Measuring instruments for skin hydration", no other instrument for skin hydration can have its own VI. There can be only one VI per scope. I strongly suggest you read Commons:Valued image scope. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 16:29, 6 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment I agree with User:Ikan Kekek that the scope "Corneometer" would be more appropriate. To put things into perspective, if tomorrow I were to invent a skin hydration measuring tool that uses a totally different technology, then that instrument too should warrant a VI award. If however I took a photo of a corneometer from a different angle, then only one image would warrant a VI. Martinvl (talk) 18:39, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
